History came alive on Friday, February 21 in the Lower School Village Academy classrooms. Students in the third, fourth and fifth grades participated in the Village Academy annual “Wax Museum”. This longstanding tradition at VA allows students to present research on famous people in a unique way.
66 Students spent the afternoon as figures in a “wax museum” only to come “alive” and share interesting information about themselves when a visitor dropped a coin in their cup. Parents, friends, students, and even members of the Powell Historical Society attended this event. All money raised was donated to the Powell Historical Society.
